About the Art
Rati

By Dr. Jatinder Singh Bhogal

This stunning piece of artwork tells a story with every brush stroke. Described in Indian mythology and folklore as the daughter of Prajapati Daksha, Rati is the female counterpart, the chief consort of Kamdeva, the God of love. In this particular design the emphasis has been on the lotus, radiant in hues of orange, yellow and purple.
